How is your experience with Smart Switch on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra?

I am planning to transfer all my data from my old Samsung phone to my new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, but I am a little confused about the security and whether everything will transfer properly. Is Smart Switch actually helpful when moving files and other data from one device to another?

Does USB 3.2 Gen 1 make transferring large videos from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 reasonably quick?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 through USB Type-C. I sometimes transfer photos and videos to my laptop, so I’m wondering if the wired connection is fast enough for larger files.

Does 512GB make more sense on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 if you plan to keep it for several years?

Samsung offers the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 in 256GB and 512GB variants, while both have 12GB memory. I am thinking about long-term usage with photos, videos, apps and offline files rather than just buying the higher storage for the sake of it.

Is USB 3.2 Gen 1 useful for transferring large files from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 uses USB Type-C with USB 3.2 Gen 1. I sometimes move videos and large folders from my phone to a laptop, so transfer speed matters to me. Is this connection fast enough for moving large files regularly?

Xiaomi Adding Quick Share Support

So Xiaomi has now added Quick Share support to its phones. I honestly think it is a great move since it enhances cross-platform support and allows users with different devices to share files with each other. Oh, and it works with Apple too I think.

Samsung Galaxy S26 RAW Photography Users, What Are You Editing With?

Since the phone supports Expert RAW, I wanted to know how people edit their photos. Do you edit on the phone itself or move files to a PC for software like Lightroom?

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Finally Feels Better for Long Video Exports

Finally, long compression video files are much easier to handle with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I exported a large video file and observed that it brings a faster exporting experience than the previous models. The flagship chipset makes it easier to create better cinematic footage, and even the quality/pixels is not degraded at all.

Looking for a printer for home office use

I am looking for my options in printer that works well for heavy files, can do occasional scanning, and is good for everyday work. Not looking for any advanced features, but a brand on which I can rely on. Are there any good recommendations during the Amazon sale?

Is a 5,000mAh battery still enough with today’s processors?

Like with gaming, video streaming, multitasking, and advanced camera features, is a 5,000 mAh battery enough for recent processors? Looking forward to buying a new phone, but unsure about the required battery information. I am a UX designer, and have larger files and photos on my phone. Will a 5,000mAh battery phone, like the new Galaxy S26, provide longer battery life too?
