Is USB 3.2 Gen 1 useful for transferring large files from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 uses USB Type-C with USB 3.2 Gen 1. I sometimes move videos and large folders from my phone to a laptop, so transfer speed matters to me. Is this connection fast enough for moving large files regularly?

For regular file transfers, I’ve found the wired connection very convenient.

I use a cable for larger files and it’s much quicker than sending everything wirelessly.
