(Don't Buy Anything From Snapdeal) Snapdeal Defrauded Me, Again!
I ordered a XOLO Black a few days ago on 12th January and got it delivered on 16th January. In the description box of the product, the variant was described to have 3GB RAM. I was very happy when I got the device and it ran quite good until I loaded all of my apps in it. The multi-tasking performance was not good so, I thought that it's because of the HIVE Atlas ROM which the phone runs on as it is very buggy and is never updated.
On 29th January, I got really frustrated of the device because although it had 3GB RAM, it didn't work like it, leaving the software in it aside. So, I decided to do a few benchmarks on the device and I saw that it had ONLY 2GB OF RAM from the CPU-Z app. I instantly contacted Snapdeal support and asked for a refund and then they called me today.
They said, "Sorry sir, the 7 days time of returning the device is over, now we can't do anything regarding this."
So, what I can say about Snapdeal and how they defraud people is this:
- Firstly put a wrong description of an item.
- Let the buyer buy it.
- Change the description of the item as soon as it is delivered.
- Let the buyer do anything and complain, WE HAVE ALREADY GOT THE MONEY WITH US!
Also, I have a sick habit of taking screenshots of a product's description before buying it. I did the same for this one too. I'll be putting them over here too.
Notice that the seller of the device is "LAVA INT-GGN-Sohna BD-VOI" which sells the device which I've bought and then there's this seller "LAVA INT-HYD-MANDAL-VOI" which sells the 3GB variant of the XOLO Black so, I can't be lying because we can't do any kind of "Inspect Element" in their mobile app if they are thinking that I did this.
So, all I'd like to say is WTF SNAPDEAL? Even your competitor "Flipkart" also provides a 30-day return policy because they know that they don't run any frauds of this type.
THIS IS MY LAST PURCHASE WITH SNAPDEAL, BEFORE THIS, THE ALSO TRIED TO DEFRAUD ME WITH AN INFOCUS M330 WHICH I TRIED TO BUY, LOOK HERE: http://forum.gadgets.ndtv.com/t/infocus-m330-users-what-do-you-think-about-the-update-rolled-out-today-by-infocus/1889/1

Should The ISPs Provide A Better And Faster Internet At Cheaper Rates?
As many of you guys have seen, I'm very active in here and post some random questions once in a while so, here's today's question, "Should The ISPs Provide A Better And Faster Internet At Cheaper Rates?"
So, the answer is both yes and no.
Why yes?
Because it'll help in the following things:
1) Growth of technology and awareness in India.
2) Increase the online bussiness.
3) Make India one more step closer to compete from the USA.
4) Attract more and more people to get online and become smarter (Well, if you get what I mean).
5) And above all, downloading and uploading data at much faster rates (I'm feeling so high right now).
Why no?
Piracy. Now, this one word is much bigger than the five points I've stated above, due to it millions of dollars are pirated online everyday digitally in the form of games, movies, songs etc. (This reminds me of The Pirate Bay).
Well, how can ISPs improve their connection speed and lower the prices?
The clear answer is Optical Fibre lines, in India this work is going on, the govt. has taken the responsibility to lay down optical fibre lines but the work is very slow, I guess that it'll not get finished before 2018....
Where can I get the fastest internet connection in India if I wanted to?
Kerela: It has an insanely fast 1 GBPS internet connection which I think is provided by the govt. or IDK 'cause it's not stated anywhere.
Hyderabad: This city has Act Fibernet which provides 100 MBPS speed which is pretty good.
Any future of this?
Yes, there is if Google Fiber comes to India, it provides 1 GBPS internet connection for which we have to pay monthly and a one - time payment internet connection which gives us the average speeds of today's internet (Like USA or other high speed country).
Conclusion?
India seriously needs to higher the speeds and lower the rate of internet connections if it wants to compete with the world.
Why Is It That You Need To Have A Website To Get A Review Device?
I mean that I'm a professional webmaster, I can get a website up and running in just 2 - 5 days, design it and fill the whole site with a whole lot of content and optimize the SEO to get a whole lot of traffic, but still, I don't have that much time, companies firstly want a person to have a site up and running that's a bit famous too but they never see if the person has the potential and knowledge to review or not so, all I want to say to these companies is that see the potential, not their popularity or if they have a site or not.
I want you people to comment on this and share their views.

Meizu M1 Note 32 GB Blue Listed On Snapdeal For Rs. 34999
Hey, I found this while searching the phone on Google, here you go:
http://snapdeal.com/product/meizu-32gb-m1-note-blue/633826461692
Now, this phone isn't officially released but it's listed over there IDK for what reason and the price is also too high, I saw this on Amazon.com and it was listed around $207 (Rs. 13132.59 at that movement) so, IDK why it's priced so high on Snapdeal.
(InFocus M330 Users) What Do You Think About The Update Rolled Out Today By InFocus?
I think that it's pretty cool that InFocus is doing efforts for the phone, it is the first BIG update for the phone. I don't really think that anything has got better visually but it had some security and patches which I think is appreciable thing for InFocus and now I'll be eagerly waiting for the Lollipop upgrade and overall I'm very happy with my InFocus M330
If You Think That The InFocus M330 Lacks The App Drawer Then You're Wrong
Yes, what you read in the title is 100% correct, neither you and nor I have gone mad. And yes, the phone has an app drawer, what you gotta do is follow these steps:
1) Go to your home screen.
2) Press the menu button or those line bars or whatever LOL.
3) Go into preferences.
4) Scroll down, you'll see an option "One Layer" or something similar (I don't remember stuff because I returned the phone and have ordered it again as it had some problem), just click it and then select "Two Layer" from it.
5) Bang! You now have the app drawer, I explored this in my first power up of the device, I'm just confused that why other people can't
Note: I posted this because I read that the M330 lacks of the app drawer in a review posted by the NDTV Gadgets staff in their app and some other reviews from other sites also stated the same thing.
PS: No offence but I'd like to recommend the NDTV Gadgets staff to explore stuff a bit before posting a review

Root - A Privilege That Should Be Allowed By The Smartphone Companies
Now many of you people wouldn't know what 'Root' is so, lemme explain, it is kind of a 'Privilege', which allows us to access the core functions of our android smartphone, it is something that is not allowed by the smartphone companies and what they do is if they find that a phone is rooted, they void it's warranty because it is something that could help us overlock our phone's CPU to a higher level.
Now this is only one feature of root, but there are many others like by rooting your phone you could have access to 'Cheat Tools' which can help us modify an apps data, make In App Purchases (IAP) free and patch some apps to get their premium versions for free, removing unwanted system apps with ease, but it also helps in SECURING OUR PHONE, like '360 Security', it needs root to establish a firewall to protect our phones from unwanted access, key logging etc., I think that it should be allowed by the smartphone companies, like there are two sides to every coin, just like that, there are two kind of people, one which need it to secure their phones and one who hack IAP and stuff by using it.
I want to say that people would never stop rooting their phones and hacking stuff just because these companies void the warranty, it's like a limitation, how do you know who will use it for the good and who will use it for that bad? So, simply just let people do what they want, they paid for the phones and warranty comes within it.
Some tools that could help you root your phone:
1) iRoot (Windows)
2) iRoot (Mobile)
3) Unlock Root (PC Version Only)
4) Framaroot (Android version only)
Some hacking apps due to which smartphone companies don't allow root:
1) Freedom
2) Lucky Patcher
3) SB Game Hacker
Note: I've not posted the rooting methods, please search Google for that.

(Don't Buy Anything From Snapdeal.com) My Personal Experience For InFocus M330
Hello everyone, I ordered the InFocus M330 on 10th April, there was a dead pixel on the screen, I tried to replace it but it was out of stock, so I took a refund, then after some time on 21st April I ordered it again from there and today I got it and opened it, at the first glance I saw that the screenguard on the phone had some dust on it from the inside, I took the phone out, I saw a hole in the phone's box, I thought it would some damage done by the courier then after I switched on the phone, I saw that there was some problem on this phone's screen too, probably some particle inside the phone screen, I think Snapdeal takes used and faulty products from unhappy customers and gives it to the other customers who placed an order, please, I suggest not to buy from Snapdeal.com, at least for me this is the last product I'm buying from Snapdeal.
Oh yeah, I remember, Snapdeal has another problem too, if you wanna replace a product, you have to firstly give Snapdeal the faulty product which can take up to 3 days for the courier to pick up then you have to wait for the product to get verified that the customer has not done anything to it and then after that they start the process of replacement, unlikely Flipkart.com which replaces the product on-site, I strictly suggest not to buy from Snapdeal.com, this is my last product from there, buy from Flipkart.com or Amazon.com if you can, don't buy from Snapdeal.
I Have Two Questions
I have two questions for you guys, who is the administrator of this forum and which forum script is being used?
