I have been trying to stay around Rs. 50,000 for a TV and suddenly Sony models are making me rethink the budget

The cheaper options look good too, but Sony keeps coming up whenever I ask people about picture quality. Now I am wondering if spending a little extra will actually matter in daily use.

TV brands often focus on brightness and screen size, but Sony’s new RGB display technologies are making colour accuracy an increasingly important selling point.

Is Sony Still the Most Trusted TV Brand for Picture Quality?

I think the TV market today is highly competitive. Sony has built a legacy for decades, but Samsung and LG have really stepped up their game now. Meanwhile, Xiaomi continues to impress with its features while also undercutting them in terms of pricing. What would you prefer if you had to buy a new TV today?

Sony BRAVIA 3II looks interesting for people who care about smooth motion

I am looking for a TV that can offer sound performance in sports and gaming. I did my research and found that Sony TVs have a far better reputation than others. Gone through the features of Sony Bravia 3II, it comes with 4K resolution at 120fps for smooth motion. Should I choose Sony over cheaper brands?

Anyone here using a QLED TV under Rs. 50,000? How’s the experience?

I am looking for an OLED TV, and my budget is under 50K. My requirements are a 4K TV, a 50-55-inch screen, QLED and one that has good software. I generally prefer Sony because of its reliability, quality, and reputation. I have heard of Hisense, too. Can anyone share their experience and recommend reliable options for a QLED TV under 50K?

What do you guys think about the recent TCL-Sony deal?

Sony and TCL recently announced that TCL will acquire Sony's home entertianment business. How does it impact us in India as I believe Sony Bravia TVs are quite popular in India? Also, I read somewhere that the prices of Bravia TVs could go down, too? Would it be better to wait if I am looking to buy a new TV?

Sony Bravia KD 55X9000E

I purchased Sony Bravia KD-55X9000E in the year 2018. Just three years and last week the screen went black. When contacted service centre, they checked and confirmed that Mother Board has gone and is beyond repair, it needs to be replaced. and will cost around 10000/- Looks like substandard quality products are pushed into Indian market. Am sure this would not happen in the product of US market….

Very disappointed with Sony product. Please note that a dedicated UPS had been placed for the TV as it was an expensive TV. . I cannot recommend any of Sony products to anyone… This may not affect Sony’s reputation but this is what I will do…

Help me purchase my new lap top

Most important spec of all is "build quality, service, support". I am willing to pay for that quality!
I have nothing against large PC companies, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Sony, etc. That said, it seems very difficult to get close to what I'm looking for from these main suppliers. I live in the US but discovered in my research, small PC builders, they seem to cater to gamers, hi end business machines, but some will work with someone like me. Some were even in the UK and seemed to be well thought of and some even seemed competitive in price, even with shipping. A question is, is it silly for me to consider looking at these small builders, I might be incorrect in thinking that these smaller shops might take quality/service/support as more important, then say a multinational corp. I'm open to any and all suggestions, directions, opinions. Anybody who has weighed through this long winded request and wants to comment, hey, feel free, I'll be happy to hear any thing you all have to say.

I'm hoping to buy PC with Win 10 installed, hopefully without bloatware/crapware, a clean install.

Notebook Components
