Why are we all switching off our secondary SIMs this year?

I just came across a report that mentions Indians are ditching their dual-SIM setups. Between the Airtel price hikes and Jio's validity cuts, is anyone else finding it too expensive to keep two numbers active?

Definitely it is becoming harder to keep two SIMs active. I only prefer to use the second SIM for backup especially when I am out of station where there is a poor network.
