Nintendo confirms revised Switch 2 with user replaceable batteries. It will launch in Autumn 2026. It seems really interesting to me that the battery is replaceable while the screen and other features will remain the same.
It's one of those practical upgrades that could make a big difference years down the road. Seeing them return in some products makes me wonder whether we gave them up too easily.
How Nintendo has handled a flawless classic, the teaser of Ocarina on Nintendo Switch 2 is creating pure nostalgic hype. I watched a teaser of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and seeing Logan sleeping in the house literally gave me goosebumps. I am truly excited this time.
I don't think I can afford gaming as a hobby without taking out a loan. If Nintendo raising the prices of the games and announcing a super expensive console wasn't enough, now Sony has started hiking PS5 prices due to a memory chip shortage. On top of that, games are getting more expensive, easily crossing the Rs. 5,000-6,000 mark. At this point, it is just better to pick up a bat and go outside.
