JWST has spotted tiny and mysterious red dots in deep space. Initially, astronomers were not sure of this. Now, a team of scientists led by Vasily Kokorev has discovered that these dots are actually black hole stars.
For decades, astronomers have wondered why massive galaxies died early in the universe. Powerful data from JWST and ALMA have revealed that it is a strong galaxy-killer wind which is stopping the formation of future stars.
