Comparing fitness trackers with LED displays Polar Loop or SafeBand?

I was searching for activity trackers which have LED Fuel Band like displays. The very first result was Polar Loop.
Then I tried to find something more functional on Kickstarter

Actually that Band seems to be better with its "safety" functions, but there is one problem - the project has stopped fund raising.

So what do you think? Is it better to buy Polar Loop right now or wait for the start of new crowd funding campaign of that Safe Band project?

EU exempted battery regulation but not for smart wearables

EU exempted battery regulation, and by 2027, most electronic devices will use user-replaceable batteries. But this law does not apply to wearables such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, and electric toys. Dont you think they should apply to wearables too, to reduce battery waste concerns?
