Transfer of files from Samsung ll to a new HTC desire 310 dual sim

Hi everyone,

How does one sync files, which were back-up onto a computer from Samsung II via kies, to a brand new HTC 310 desire dual sim?
Unfortunately, Kies doesn't recognise HTC!
