Bitcoin’s Political Dependence Is Becoming Impossible to Ignore

Bitcoin has repeatedly been described as an asset independent of traditional politics, but recent market movements suggest otherwise. The US midterm elections have renewed concerns about the future of crypto-friendly legislation, and investors are reacting to the possibility of regulatory changes. I find it interesting that an asset designed to operate outside government control can still be so sensitive to political developments. Perhaps decentralised technology and independent market behaviour are two very different things. Has Bitcoin become too dependent on political developments to function as an independent financial asset?

Has anyone noticed the blinking pixel while calling?

While making a call on my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, I noticed a tiny blinking light or pixel-like thing on the screen. It disappears after a while, so I wasn't sure if it was actually an issue or some normal phone behaviour. Has anyone else noticed this?

The Rise of Blockchain-Based Reputation

Traditional credit scores help lenders decide whether someone is likely to repay a loan, but they don’t work equally well for people with limited banking histories. Blockchain-based reputation systems could potentially use a person’s on-chain activity to create alternative forms of financial credibility. Repayment history, transaction behaviour or participation in certain financial applications could become part of a digital reputation. The challenge is privacy: people may not want their financial behaviour permanently visible or used to judge them. There is also a risk of confusing wallet activity with someone’s real financial situation. Could decentralised reputation eventually complement traditional credit scoring?

I’ve seen Gen-Z maintain Snapchat streaks, and isn’t it the most stressful thing? Does maintaining streaks boost self-esteem, or is it some kind of an addictive behaviour?
