Snapdragon 615 and 810 processors are heating pads...

in CPU Electronics the biggest curse is heat and latest Snapdragons heat like anything no matter which phone they are present.

Please research first before giving such replies to users.

Huge mobile stocks will be wasted unless a heating fix which is put in which in turn will lower the CPU frequency and will lower the performance.

So high performance from Snapdragon processors are its nemesis.

Mediatek will win unless Qualcomm figures this out.

Just FYI. SD 615 has many heating and performance related issues and HTC phone you mentioned has MT6752 which beats SD615 hands down.

Also please note the point that SD615 is LP fabricated chip(Low Performance) where as MT6752 is HP fabricated both on 28nm TSMC.

I am confused whether HTC820s has MT6572 or MT6752? Some sites including NDTV mention MT6572 while GSMarema mentions MT6752.
I think 6752 would still offer comparable performance to SD615
I have read some online reviews that mention SD615 also has heating issues (e.g. Yu, HTC Desire 820). But the issue with Yu might be because Cynogenmod OS. SD also has better developer community support. To me it's SD615 is a winner if compared to MT6572.
If 820s uses MT6752, then we will have to wait for detailed comparison on points like heating, performance and GPS connectivity

HI I would like to say that now a days smartphones comes with 64 bit processor and snapdragon 615 have 64bit processor and mediatek is 32 bit processor,
most of the mediatek built mobile have heating problems also so I will say sapdragon is best

Mediatek is always cheap and high performance, but it's value is less then Snapdragon.

Plz keep in mind - Apple mobile achieved gold opportunity in the world by created 64 bits architecture and 64 bit OS .
Snapdragon 415,615,815 < above,they are have 64 bit CPU architecture , and Android lollipop OS only have 64 bit option . before you buy check all information.and above 3Gb RAM is added advantage . it's will make like as computer performance.
