My AC cools the room but takes quite a while to feel comfortable. Could the capacity be the issue?

It works eventually, but the room stays warm for a long time after switching it on, especially in the afternoon.

It could be related to capacity, room insulation or direct sunlight. I had a similar issue and moving to the right-sized AC helped a lot.
