Is it safe to put stickers on your laptop?

I am thinking of adding some stickers, but I am worried about the glue and whether they can damage the laptop. What has been your experience?

They are generally fine, but removing them can leave sticky marks. I prefer using a laptop skin instead.

I have used stickers for years and have not faced any problem. Just make sure you use good-quality ones.
