Is Auto Zoom useful when you’re using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 in Flex Mode?

The FlexCam can use Auto Zoom to keep people in the frame when the phone is placed in Flex Mode. I’m wondering if it works well enough for hands-free photos and videos.
