Is a laptop webcam still something people care about when buying?

I’ve noticed some expensive laptops still have pretty average cameras. With all the video calls now, I’m surprised this isn’t talked about more.

It definitely matters to me. I have meetings pretty often, so a terrible webcam can be more annoying than I expected.
