Is a bigger tablet actually better for studying?

A large screen looks useful for notes and PDFs, but I am worried it will become difficult to carry. What size works for you?

I bought a bigger one and now I regret it a little. It is great at home but not very portable.

Around 11 inches feels perfect to me. It is big enough for notes but still easy to carry.
