Is 120Hz really noticeable on a phone, or is it just something we get used to?

I keep hearing about 120Hz displays, but I'm not sure how much difference it makes in daily use. Can you actually feel it?

Have not noticed this before and I actually do not even know what 120Hz is for

Yes, I noticed the difference immediately after switching back to 60Hz. Scrolling feels much smoother.
