The iPhone 17 looks decent, sounds powerful, and but still costs more than my first laptop. Apple’s calling it the smartest iPhone ever, but how much smarter can a rectangle get? Are we seeing real innovation or just polished repetition?

Feels more like refined evolution than a big leap. The hardware keeps getting better, but without a truly new experience, it’s hard to call it real innovation — just a very expensive upgrade cycle.
