I read reports that OnePlus is closing its business. Is it safe to buy OnePlus phones now?

I read somewhere on the internet that OnePlus is closing its operations in India. Is it just a rumour or is the company seriously closing its business? I was initially planning to buy a new OnePlus smartphone, but after reading such rumours, should I opt for one?

No way! The confusion that is coming from these rumours seems to be coming from the extreme interpretation of the baseless rumours that are circulating right now. OnePlus is still in business, continues to make phones, continues to provide updates to the firmware, and has Service Centers in India and worldwide. According to me, buying a OnePlus device today is not a risky decision to make. If you like any of the current models available from OnePlus, there should be no reason not to purchase one.
