How to stop "Auto-Downloads" in WhatsApp to save data


How can I save WhatsApp from automatically saving media to my phone? My gallery is full of irrelevant images and videos that I don’t want.

To stop photos from being saved automatically, go to settings > chats, then turn off media visibility. But if you want to completely stop the media, go to Settings> Storage and Data. It will unlock all the media options on mobile data.
