How much difference does the ArmorFlex hinge make on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 uses Samsung’s new ArmorFlex hinge, and I’m curious about what difference the hinge design makes in actual use. I’m particularly interested in how smoothly the phone opens and closes and how stable it feels when partially folded.

Flex Mode is much more useful when the hinge can hold different angles properly.
