Do tablets actually make studying easier than using a laptop?

I am thinking of getting one mainly for notes and PDFs. Does a tablet really make a difference?

I still prefer my laptop for studying. The bigger screen and keyboard work better for me.

For me, yes. Reading PDFs and making handwritten notes is much easier on a tablet.
