Do software updates arrive automatically on Galaxy Z Flip8?

I’ve been using my Galaxy Z Flip8 for a while and was wondering how Samsung handles software updates. Do they automatically show up on the phone, or do I need to connect it to a computer?

I usually check Settings > Software Update manually if I haven’t received a notification yet.

You don’t need a computer for regular software updates.

Mine just showed the update notification and I installed it directly from the phone.
