Crypto Bridges Are Sacrificing Too Much Security for Convenience
Moving assets between blockchains makes crypto ecosystems more connected, but bridges can introduce additional points of failure. Users may assume that if a blockchain is secure, the tools connecting it to other networks must be equally safe. That assumption can be costly. Projects should be more cautious about expanding cross-chain functionality before demonstrating that their security systems can withstand serious attacks. Supporting more networks does not automatically progress if every new connection creates another risk users must absorb.
