Budget laptop buying: Are entry-level Chromebooks still viable for basic remote work
I need a super cheap, basic backup laptop for traveling. I will only use it to write documents, check emails, and log into online databases. I have seen some really cheap Chromebooks, but I am worried they will lag or freeze when using basic websites and communication tools. Should I get a basic Chromebook or a cheap Windows laptop?
