Are smartwatches with rotating crowns easier to use than touchscreen-only models?

I find it slightly inconvenient to scroll through small menus on a watch screen. I am curious whether a physical crown makes everyday navigation noticeably better.

Multipoint is very convenient when it works well. I would check real user feedback because switching behaviour can vary between brands.
