Are companies stuffing too many sensors and features into flagships that most people never use?

There is a popular argument going on that companies are using too many sensors. Or is it just a hype? In my opinion, many users don’t even use this feature, nor do they understand it. It becomes useless to them. What are your opinions on this?

As per my research, the market growth for sensors in mobile phones is projected to reach USD 24.2 billion by 2030. Phones such as Apple, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Sony are gaining popularity due to their 1-inch sensors. In fact, new flagships are integrating AI directly into these sensors which is proven to be useful in informed decision-making.
