An Exchange’s Response to a Crisis Can Matter as Much as the Loss Itself
The recent CoinDCX incident raises an important question about trust in crypto exchanges. Even when a company absorbs a financial loss and says customer balances are unaffected, users still need a clear explanation of what happened and why the problem was not caught earlier. In my opinion, protecting customer funds is only one part of responsible exchange management. Communicating honestly, especially when the facts are still being investigated, matters just as much. Would you continue using an exchange that suffered a major loss but covered it entirely itself?
