With Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, do people actually know you are recording?

I am going on a trip next week and am considering getting Meta glasses for my travel vlogs. But I am worried about its “creepy” factor. I do not want to capture or record awkward clicks in public places, such as cafes or museums. Since it features an LED light that indicates you're recording, does anyone know that you are recording?
