Is better microphone quality actually worth prioritising if you take lots of calls?

I used to care only about music quality, but now I’m taking more calls on earbuds. My current ones sound fine to me but apparently I sound terrible to everyone else.

Yes, especially if you’re on calls a lot. My old earbuds sounded great to me but apparently I sounded like I was calling from inside a tunnel
