Indian users caring more about durability than flashy specs

A recent study from CMR suggests reliability is becoming a key metric behind any smartphone purchase. Indian consumers are no longer impressed by flashy specifications they think it is just hype. If a smartphone is durable, reliable, and affordable, that is what drives their purchase decision. Would you consider buying a phone based on these three factors?

I once broke my screen on a crowded metro, and suddenly it started to lag as well. I was really disappointed because I had bought that phone with my first salary. So, I think next time I would look for a smartphone with good durability, one that would run for at least 6-7 years.
