The feature is good, but I feel there should be a manual on/off option for it. Sometimes we intentionally avoid checking messages, thinking “I’m out in the sun/on the road, how am I supposed to do it right now?” and there’s this weird little satisfaction in not seeing them. But because of this feature, it gets a bit difficult, and you end up seeing them anyway. I know this sounds weird, but the struggle is real
