Cowon M2 or the Fiio X1

Hi,
I am looking forward to buying an mp3 player or dap which would be the best in terms of audio quality. I am well aware of the battery performance and the other technical aspects , however I am not aware of the kind of audio quality of the mentioned daps. would love to have the verdict of someone who might have used both or might have experienced the audio quality of the either daps.
